Very humbled to have been one of 11 nominees of the Small Business Award presented by the Bonita Springs Chamber at their annual luncheon today.

Customer Service in Asia

For the past three weeks I have been touring Asia with my finance.  The reason for the trip was my brothers wedding in Serong, Indonesia.   I felt if we were going to travel this far, we might was we'll see what Asia has to offer.  

Well It has been a truly  amazing expierence from the airlines, hotels, retail shopping and more. 

What I found in each country we visited ( Hong Kong, Indonesia, Bali, Singapore and Dubai, was the friendliness of the people, as well as the customer service provided.   We were greeted with kindness and smiles everywhere we went.  We also leaned tips were not expected and when given, very appreciated.

 Some folks were just happy to see Americans.  At my brothers reception we felt like celeberties  we shook hands with the 1500 guests invited and took pictures with many of them who have never met Americans. 

It just reminded me of how we should treat foreigners when they arrive in the U.S.   We should all review our customer service procedures, make our visitors feel welcome and make sure employees are well trained, after all, it cost nothing to smile!

History Made

  Tonight was a very special evening. History was made.  The Everglades Wondergardens was purchased by the Bonita Wondergardens Board of Directors, Inc. 

It was a festive evening with lots of smiles and relief.  The work now begins, paying back the 3.5 million to the City of Bonita Springs.   A huge thank you to all who took part in Preserving The Wonder.

Project Help A Place For Hope!

Tonight  I supported  Project Help a non-profit organization of professional counselors and advocates, committed to providing hope, empowerment and healing to anyone affected by sexual violence, sudden death and other crimes.

Coffee with Congressman Burt Clawson

Very nice way to start the morning by meeting with Congressman Curt Clawson and share with him how important it is to have his support to help Preserve the Everglades Wonder Gardens.  

As president of Bonita Wonder Gardens, Inc, the financial arm of the Everglades Wonder Gardens, we have a lot of work ahead to keep it open.

 Congressman Clawson promised to schedule a visit after his trip to DC. We welcome your support.
