TLC Updates

TLC is updating their website this summer adding more pages and content to the services we provide. We are excited to introduce our event planning division. 

 TLC will work with clients on private functions, wedding planning, holiday gatherings, grand opening celebrations , and other events that can eliminate your stress in a completely friendly and caring way.  

We will go above and beyond to make your special day, extra special!

Join us for the Final Commercial Sales Industry Professionals (CSIP) Gathering,
 Tuesday, May 1st- Trianon Hotel, Bonita Springs.

We will end our final CSIP meeting on Tuesday, May 1st from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Trianon Hotel Bonita Springs.   Our "CHEERS" theme,  will be complete with a visit from "Norm"  including a photo opp courtesy of Photo Magic, music from New Beginning Events, Great food from Russell's Clambakes,  and the past 6 years of laughter with a slide presentation  running continuously throughout the evening, courtesy of Photography By David Michael.  Of course cash bar, great prizes and 50/50.

The Commerical Sales Industry Professionals SWFL, (CSIP) will host their last two networking meetings, Tuesday, April 3 and Tuesday, May 1 st at the Trianon Hotel, Bonita Springs.

It’s been an awesome opportunity for me to lead this group for seven years. I am very proud of where we started, and honestly, how long we have been in existence. Our members have endured many obstacles these past few years, but together, we survived and kept moving forward. 

This proves beyond a doubt that the power of networking and caring about each other, competitors or not, holds true.

Normally held on Monday’s, the last two CSIP events will be held on Tuesday April 3 and Tuesday, May 1^st, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

I am forever grateful for your friendship, great times, and the many charities that you have help support. I also know that CSIP has helped you with your business connections that are awesome. I hope you will continue to support each other by staying in touch.

In May, we will celebrate “Cheers style” Where everyone knows your name. So I hope you will plan to attend, give lots of hugs and say so long to your Monday night friends.

Do You Have Your Networking Resoultions Lined Up in 2012

Are you ready for 2012? Do you have your networking resolutions all written out and in front of you?  Are you gearing up to attend the many networking events all across Southwest Florida?

Lets' start out by inviting you to the Commercial  Sales Industry Professionals (CSIP) Networking event on Monday, January 9th  beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the  Trianon Hotel in Bonita Springs. For only $5.00 you can meet and mingle with the finest professionals in the area, enjoy plenty of good food, cash bar and great door prizes.

 CSIP has been gathering for over 6 years and began as a trade’s only group, however, since the economy was failing, our group wanted to open their arms to help everyone continue their networking.  You will meet architects, engineers, (civil and landscape) contractors, and others in the trade industry.  You will also find marketing professionals, bankers and others who are a great resource for your business.

 Another not to miss networking event is on Friday, January 13^th as my friend Cat Foster is celebrating the opening of her new insurance business, Cat Foster Insurance in conjunction with her birthday.  She’s located in Brooks Executive Center in Bonita Springs. Please stop by for some great workshops, networking and of course, birthday cake.

 Finally, as the president of the European American Network ( EAN) I invite you to come to our 2^nd   annual European American Small Business Awards Luncheon, Tuesday, January 17^th at Bonita Bay. CSIP Networking Meeting Monday, November 7th Trianon Hotel- Bonita Springs

Join us for our monthly CSIP  networking meetng at the Trianon Hotel in Bonita Springs, on Monday, November 7th.   This month we have a guest speaker Dan Telep, Jr.   PTAC   Specialist with the Small Business Development Cetner at FGCU.  He will spend 10 minutes giving tips on securing  ways to win federal governemnt contracts.  This is a not to miss event!

We will meet from 5:30 p.m. -7:30 p.m.   Light refrehments, door prizes, cash bar, along with great networking with some of the areas best architects, interior designers, civil engineers, contractors and more.  $5 donation at the door.

Communication- Do You Hear What I Hear?

Do you hear what I hear?  Do you see what I see?  I am posting this blog about communication and sometimes lack of communication and understanding.  How do we communicate with each other? 

In the past two weeks I have had the worse communication experience with my cell service provider, or should say, past provider.  I was without the use of my cell phone for over 6 day's.  This was especially hard as this was my only way to "communicate" with my clients, family and friends.  I disliked the fact that the communication between me and the provider was not clear and plain unacceptable.  I mean really, 6 days no service?  

Communication by email is also difficult.  For instance, I am feeling great today, slept well, met with clients and learning how to blog.  So I hope my blog sounds happy.  But how will I know if the person reading this post might not be as happy as me at this moment?  or in a good mood?  therefore, my blog communication might not be well received. On the other hand, maybe someone out there would send me a reply and start a great conversation about communication.

Remember, I am learning this blog stuff so be kind when you communicate back to me.
