You know the best referrals come from others.  I am so grateful to have  clients who I have had the pleasure to work with and send my name to others.

It's not always about work either. It could be as simple as who does your lawn, babysitting ect.. 

Just think about the next time your name is given to someone. Make sure you send that person a thank you note.  Better yet a referral back to them!

Keeping Busy In The Summer

A lot has been said that Florida is slow in the summer.  However,  I am not so sure.  

Restaurants are still busy, there's lots of traffic on the road, retail stores have shoppers and I have attended a lot of events in the community filled with professionals networking.

But August is almost here, which means yellow school buses, kids biking and walking to school and of course more business for everyone. 

I am so thankful to the clients  who I have the honor and privilege to work with year-round.  They are really awesome business owners who work tirelessly to keep their businesses and employees  engaged and enthusiastic. 

So it's time to gear up for season.  (Ok almost). Polish your silver, dust off the shelves and get your customer service

staff ready and eager to welcome back our winter friends!

TLC Marketing named Small Business of The Year

I was humbled and surprised when my company TLC Marketing & Creative Services was named the  2015 Small Business of the Year by the Estero Chamber of Commerce.  

What an honor to be selected by a group of peers who I admire.  I so appreciate my clients, chamber members and most of all my guy, Gary Price!

Customer Service in Asia

For the past three weeks I have been touring Asia with my finance.  The reason for the trip was my brothers wedding in Serong, Indonesia.   I felt if we were going to travel this far, we might was we'll see what Asia has to offer.  

Well It has been a truly  amazing expierence from the airlines, hotels, retail shopping and more. 

What I found in each country we visited ( Hong Kong, Indonesia, Bali, Singapore and Dubai, was the friendliness of the people, as well as the customer service provided.   We were greeted with kindness and smiles everywhere we went.  We also leaned tips were not expected and when given, very appreciated.

 Some folks were just happy to see Americans.  At my brothers reception we felt like celeberties  we shook hands with the 1500 guests invited and took pictures with many of them who have never met Americans. 

It just reminded me of how we should treat foreigners when they arrive in the U.S.   We should all review our customer service procedures, make our visitors feel welcome and make sure employees are well trained, after all, it cost nothing to smile!
