Coconut Point Honda Groundbreaking

What fun it was seeing so many community leaders, business owners, safety personnel and  Honda Co-owners at the Groundbreaking of the new Coconut Point Honda in Estero. 

Thank you to the new Mayor and  Council of the Villages of Estero for taking part in this exciting project.

On Wednesday March 18, history was made.  The City of Bonita Springs Council voted 7-0 to loan the Bonita Wonder Gardens 3.5 million dollars to purchase and preserve the Everglades Wonder Gardens.  This  79 year old landmark is nestled on the Imperial River in Downtown Bonita Springs. 

We are so grateful to the council and supporters of the Everglades Wonder Gardens for taking a leap of faith in our abilities as a board to recognize that something so precious is worth saving.

Now fun begins as we lay out the ground work for our Capitol Campain efforts.

Everglades Wonder Gardens

Who would have ever thought a group of citizens in Bonita Springs Florida would ban together and help to preserve a 79 year old Florida landmark? Well we did. 

This group known as Bonita Wonder Gardens, Inc; lobbied to purchase and negotiate to buy the property which sits on the Imperial River in the heart of a small town from long time residents the Piper family.

On March 18 the board of directors hope that the City of Bonita Springs will move forward and become our landlord by providing the 3.5 million dollar Bridge Loan needed to purchase the site.  

It's been over 8 long months meeting and planning to accomplish this goal.

We hope there are people out there who believe that this jewel is worth saving a pledge to help us get there.

Inaugural Eyeball Soiree - January 31, 2015

The Inaugural Eyeball Soiree to benefit the Bonita Springs Lions Eye Clinic will take place on Sat January 31^st at the Everglades Wonder Gardens.  This event is anticipating a sell-out crowd of 250 attendees. The Lions Eye Clinic serves about 6,000 clients annually, providing free eye care.

Guests will enjoy tastings by six South Florida Chefs with wine and beer to savvy the flavors.  Entertainment,  live and silent auction will also take place.   M/C is Stacey Deffenbaugh, NBC-2 News Anchor.

Happy 2015!

Here we are another year older and wiser   with New Years resolutions galore. I know for me personally I plan to continue to grow my business slowly and profitable.

 My goal is to continue to take care of my existing clients offering more services listen to their needs and communicate 

more.  

I will be traveling a bit this summer, one trip overseas to see my brother marry the girl of his dreams which only took him 50 years to find the right gal.  Then out west to Colorado to the annual family reunion.

There is so much to do in only 364 days hopefully I will accomplish some if not all if it.

TLC to Host European American Network Holiday Party

It's that time when all the parties start happening. TLC is very excited to host the European American Network annual holiday party at Bonita Bay Club on December 16th from 6 pm to 9 pm.

This is a great opportunity to meet new people in a social setting. Europian flair food, cash bar, music and networking awaits. 

We are also collecting wrapped gifts for a girl or boy of any age to be donated to the Children's Home Society.

Happy Holidays from Estero

Recently, I  had the pleasure of taking part in the newest city in Florida ( The Villages of Estero) Christmas Tree lighting.

  It was awesome seeing everyone gathered around to hear the children sing and the see the lighting of the tree feeling the spirit of Christmas in the air.

I had the opportunity to meet U.S. Congressman Curt Clawson,what a nice guy.

Thanks so much to all who pulled this event together.  Adele Amico the founder and soul of this project who had a vision and ran with it.  

I can tell you this event will be with the residents forever.

Can't wait until 2015.
